Star-Planet Interactions: Entangled Fates and Open Futures

2 - 6 November 2026

Venue: Lorentz Center@omega

Close-in planets are abundant, yet the magnetic and tidal forces coupling them to their host stars remain poorly understood. Star-planet interactions shape the evolution of both bodies and offer a unique window into otherwise inaccessible planetary properties. With recent surprising observations and a new generation of powerful observatories on the horizon, this workshop brings together theorists and observers to define the most promising strategies for advancing the field.
