Multi-Messenger Lensing Program

19 - 23 October 2026

Venue: Lorentz Center@omega

If you are invited or already registered for this workshop, you have received login details by email.

This workshop aims to catalyze the emerging field of multi-messenger gravitational lensing—a transformative approach to observing the distant Universe through the combined signals of gravitational waves, neutrinos, and electromagnetic messengers from gravitationally lensed transient events. The scientific motivation lies in the potential for such lensing events to unlock new insights into cataclysmic cosmic phenomena, from kilonovae, supernovae and gamma-ray bursts to binary neutron star mergers, offering a deeper understanding of astrophysics, cosmology, and fundamental physics. Through highly interactive sessions, the workshop will identify research priorities, foster coordination among facilities, and establish a roadmap for future work to enable the first detection of a gravitationally lensed multi-messenger event.
